This week we welcome our new parochial vicar, Fr. Fabian Han, to our parish! Fr. Fabian is a newly ordained priest from the Archdiocese of Daegu, South Korea. He has studied in our seminary the past four years and was ordained a priest on May 20. I am excited for you to meet him and for him to begin his priestly ministry with us. I know he will bless us all in many ways. Please be sure to welcome him to the parish when you have a chance. We will have a welcome reception for Father Fabian after all Masses this weekend, so be sure to stop by to meet him!
I am immensely grateful for the support of our visiting priests and their commitment to our parish over the past few months. Special thanks to Fr. Jeff Barnish who served as our weekend Mass associate since January, and to Bishop Martin Amos, Fr. Tom Sweany, and Fr. Jerry Bednar, who all assisted in overwhelmingly generous capacities. We owe these priests our gratitude for bringing us the grace of our Lord through the Sacraments and their preaching. We will continue to see these priests in various capacities going forward, so please do thank them for their generous service to our parish as you are able.
